A 40 year old man arrested earlier today in connection with a PSNI investigation into violent dissident republican activity has been released from custody.
He was detained in the Derry area this morning by detectives from PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch and taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station (pictured) in Belfast for questioning.
A police spokesperson said tonight he had been “released unconditionally.”
