A Co Derry construction company is making wildlife its business by investing in the work of local nature conservation charity Ulster Wildlife.
Magherafelt-based Henry Brothers is the latest in a growing number of local businesses who are standing up for nature in Northern Ireland by lending their support to the charity through its Corporate Membership scheme.
Receiving their membership certificate, Jim Henry from Henry Brothers said: “We are delighted to be lending our support to help protect Ulster’s wildlife.
"At Henry Brothers, we strongly believe good business and reputation means caring about the local community and the environment, not just financial success.
"Through our partnership with this most deserving cause, we hope to build upon our commitment as an environmentally responsible business and make a more meaningful contribution to nature on our doorstep.”
Presenting Henry Brothers with their bronze level corporate membership certificate, Jennifer Fulton, Chief Executive with Ulster Wildlife said: “We welcome the opportunity to work in partnership with local businesses, like Henry Brothers, who share our values and who are keen to make a positive impact on the environment.”
“The support corporate members provide is vital in our work to protect endangered species, manage wild places as havens for wildlife, and inspire people to care about nature on their doorstep. We hope other businesses will follow Henry Brothers lead and help us do even more to help benefit local wildlife and people.”
