Here is your first chance to see the new-look Brooke Park in Derry following a £6.5m makeover.
The historic park, which links the city centre to the Rosemount area, has been closed for a long time to facilitate the major refurbishment project.
Now that work is nearing completion.
And today Derry Now can give people the first chance to see what the new park looks like.
A café has been built on the site of the Gywn’s building in the park.
The café enjoys stunning views over the city.
To the rear of the café is a new children’s park.
The historic pond in the park has been given a new lease of life as well, along with extensive landscaping throughout the park.
Work is ongoing to create new sporting facilities at Brooke Park.
The project is expected to finish in the Autumn but have a look at our exclusive video above to see what impressive work has already been completed.
