Lettershandoney & District Develpment Group’s eventful summer period comes to a close tomorrow with their annual festival Fun Day.
Coming straight off the back of officially opening their new community centre (Mullabuoy Centre), as well as their successful summer scheme and Foyle Cup bonanza they are finishing the summer on a high.
The festival is always a calender occasion that sees visitors coming from far and near to enjoy a day packed with plenty to do and see, with the echo of young musicians in the background belting it out live from the big stage, living their dream.
A day for all, young and old, it is the perfect finale before the schools start back and also a great experience in what rural communities have to offer their urban counterparts, just miles from the city.
