Derry-based company Sphere Global, a provider of state-of-the-art automation solutions for a range of UK industries, has received £1.2 million in funding.
The funding has come from Santander Corporate & Commercial, supported by UK Export Finance (UKEF).
The financial boost has allowed Sphere Global to compete for larger scale projects as well as tender its services to international prospects outside of the UK.
Founded in 2013, Sphere Global is a provider of complete automation solutions to a wide range of industries, including the pharmacy, food and drink, postal and distribution sectors.
Sphere Global provides full design and planning as well as 3D drawings and factory layouts for its proposed solutions.
In addition, all assembly and production is completed at Sphere Global’s 70,000 sq ft testing facility in Derry.
