A Derry community centre will hold an employment seminar on Friday.
The Glenview Community Centre will host the 'Creative Connections' one-day seminar on September 16 to develop relationships between the community and local businesses.
The aim of the event is to tackle patterns of exclusion and unemployment that exist in many areas of the city.
Community Development Officer Bronagh Mc Callion said: “The event will engage as many residents and stakeholders as possible. We have invited local ESF Employability Projects and training providers such as North West Regional College, University of Ulster, Education Authority and local businesses.
“Jobs and Benefits Office and Citizens Advice will also be in attendance for information around benefits.
“By hosting this seminar we have the opportunity to develop an awareness of community issues around unemployment and underemployment."
