Police are appealing for information about a fire which badly damaged a house in Derry last night.
The blaze broke out in a bungalow at Hawthorn Drive.
Police are treating the fire as malicious.
Detectives at Strand Road are appealing for witnesses.
It is understood that the fire was started sometime between 9.30pm and midnight last night.
No one was in the house at the time of the incident.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who might have information which may assist the investigation to contact them at Strand Road Police Station on 101 quoting reference number 1573 of 16/09/16.
