Eglinton’s Paralympic hero Jason Smyth has received a special welcome home.
Hundreds of people gathered in the village this afternoon in honour of Jason’s latest achievement.
He recently defended his 100m title at the Paralympic Games in Brazil, bringing to five the number of gold medals he has won.
A large number of people set off with Jason for a run through the Main Street of Eglinton before a major celebration was held at the village’s community hall.
