An elderly man has escaped injury in a house fire in Derry evening.
The blaze broke out in a bungalow on Westway in Creggan
Three fire tenders from Northland Road and Crescent Link in the Waterside attended the scene (pictured).
It is understood the blaze, which started accidentally, broke out in the kitchen of the house.
A section of Westway remains closed off and firefighters and police remain at the scene.
