The Renal Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry has been presented with the proceeds of a marathon cycle staged in memory of a former patient.
Joe Mottram and colleagues from Oral Maxillo-Facial Unit in Outpatients at the hospital donated £3,450 to the Unit.
The donation was raised by Joe and a group of his colleagues cycling the ‘Inishowen 100’ in memory of Joe’s wife, Mary, who was a renal patient and also a staff nurse in the hospital.
In recognition of the excellent care and treatment given by the Renal Unit staff to Mary.
