Two men have been arrested after being disturbed by police stealing lead from the roof of an electricity sub-station in Derry.
The pair were detained yesterday after a short chase.
Police have revealed they also had cannabis in their possession and lead from an, as yet, unidentified location.
As a result, police are appealing for information as to where it was stolen so it can be returned its rightful owner.
A spokesperson said: “Have you had lead stolen from your home or business in the last day or so or do you know anyone that has?
“! If so, give us a call on 101 quoting CC58 from 26/09/16.”
