A new ‘Men’s Shed’ group is being set up in Derry.
Glen Development Initiative (GDI) will run the group at Glenview Community Centre at Cedar Street.
This follows on from a successful drive for men’s sheds throughout the world and the establishment of several “Men’s Sheds” in Ireland.
Now local men from the Glen area have got together to establish a space for themselves to pursue their own interests.
It is simply somewhere to gather and meet and share skills, experience and take part in activities. Already, throughout Ireland, men are joining together to try new activities, learn new skills and meet new friends.
All men from the area are welcome to join group.
