A 41-year-old man has appeared at Derry Magistrates Court charged with stealing a woman's wedding and engagement rings.
Maurice Coyle, 41, with addresses on court papers as Milldale Crescent/St. Eithne's Park, was also accused of stealing a dress ring from the same woman on 1 February last year.
Appearing at a preliminary enquiry, Coyle said nothing in answer to the charges.
He was released on his own bail of £300 to appear for arraignment at Derry Crown Court on 3 November next.
District Judge Barney McElholm ordered him to reside at an address at Castleforward in Newtowncunningham, Co Donegal.
