Police in Derry are appealing for information after three masked men attempted to gain entry to a house in the city last night.
The incident occurred at around 8.15pm in Carnhill.
Detective Sergeant Brian Reid said: “We are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact detectives at Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1201 on 04/10/16.
“Or alternatively, if someone would like to provide information without giving their details they can report to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
