The Western Health and Social Care Trust (Western Trust) in partnership with the British Lung Foundation (BLF) are inviting patients, carers and families with a lung condition to join a new Lung Support Group in Limavady. The launch of the Breathe Easy Roe Valley Lung Support Group will be held on Friday next, 14 October, at 2.00pm in O’Hampsey Studio, Civic Centre, Limavady.
Jeremy Bacon, Breathe Easy Manager, British Lung Foundation said it was important people living with lung disease got the right information and support to help them to stay as well as possible.
He added; “The British Lung Foundation is delighted to be working in partnership with The Western Trust, healthcare professionals, and volunteers living with lung disease, to start Breathe Easy Roe Valley.
“Everyone affected by a lung condition is very welcome to come along and find out how the new group’s friendly and informal monthly meetings can benefit health and wellbeing. ”
Hazel Patterson, Western Trust Community Respiratory Nurse said: “We welcome patients, carers and their families from the extended Roe Valley area to please come along and find out more on how we can support them in the management of their respiratory condition.”
