Derry boxer Connor Coyle will make his eagerly-awaited professional debut in America in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
The 2014 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist (pictured) will take on Euris Silverio in s middleweight bout on the All Star Boxing card titled ‘Attack and Conquer’ at the A La Carte Pavilion in nearby Tampa.
The former St Joseph’s ABC boxer (26) is highly-fancied to make a winning start to his pro career – Silverio (25),, from the Dominican Republic but living in Florida, turned professional last year and failed to register a win in the four fights he has had so far.
All being well, Coyle will make his Irish debut in Dublin on 5 November next.
