Foyle DUP MLA Gary Middleton has visited the new kitchen at the Foyle Down Syndrome Trust in Derry to congratulate the group on their success in the “People’s Project.”
Speaking after attending the grand opening of the new facility. Mr Middleton said: "It was an honour to attend this fantastic occasion and celebration of the group being awarded £50,000 from the Recipe for Success project.
“The funding has been used to build a new kitchen which will allow for the facilitation of cookery lessons which will provide a lasting legacy for all involved.
“This is a very worthwhile charity and a fantastic project. I will continue to support them in the future."
