Police in Derry are currently receiving specialist training on how to deal with incidents of domestic abuse.
The training (pictured) is being provided by Women's Aid.
Meanwhile, police have appealed to anyone who is or knows someone who is suffering from abuse to contact them on 999 or on 101 for non emergency contact.
A spokesperson said: “Women's Aid can also be contacted on 0808 802 1414 for support and advice.”
