A number of Derry men are believed to be among 14 people arrested in Co Tyrone following the funeral this morning of murdered dissident republican Michael Barr.
The 34-year-old (pictured) was shot dead in the Sunset House pub in Dublin on 25 April.
Hundreds attended his funeral Mass in Strabane this morning.
A number people in paramilitary-style uniform flanked his cortege on its way to St Mary’s Church in the Melmount area of the town.
Confirming the arrests, a PSNI spoikesperson said: “As a result of the policing operation at the funeral of Michael Barr in Strabane earlier today, 14 males have been arrested under the Terrorism Act.”
