The DUP’s George Robinson has retained his seat in East Derry.
The former Mayor of Limavady Borough Council was elected following count 4B after obtaining 4931 votes, 16 more than the quota.
The 75-year-old was first elected as an MLA for East Derry in 2003
He is the second DUP candidate to be elected.
His party colleague Maurice Bradley was elected after count four.
