Detectives in Derry are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted during an aggravated burglary in the Grangewood Court area of the city on Tuesday night.
During the incident, which occurred between 10.10 - 11.40pm, a 15 year-old boy was assaulted and a sum of money stolen from the house.
Detective Constable Tony Douglas said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the Grangewood Court area last night, or who may have information about the incident, to contact detectives at Strand Road on 101.”
“Alternatively, information can be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
