The stars of the C4 hit sitcom Derry Girls were on home turf yesterday for a special reception at the Guildhall.
The main actresses - and actor - from the show were in Derry to meet with Mayor Maoliosa McHugh, who hosted a reception for them to say thank you for the international acclaim (and many laughs) they have brought our native city.
Included at the event were real live Derry girls from several local schools and a host of local politicians.
