Police in Derry investigating a burglary at a primary school in the Ballymagroarty area in the early hours this morning have arrested a 16 year old male youth.
Inspector Jonathan Hunter said officers received a report of an “ongoing incident” at Holy Family Primary School at around 4.00am and attended the scene.
He added: “The young male was located and arrested on the premises.”
A quantity of electronic equipment was recovered by police at the scene.
The youth is currently in custody assisting officers with enquiries.
