A sea mammal suspected to be a dead porpoise has washed up on the banks of the River Foyle after an unidentified creature was spotted in the water close to the Peace Bridge at the end of March.
The footage showed the marine animal in the water close to the quay, with many people speculating that it was a porpoise.
Earlier this week, a member of the public was taking his son out for a walk at an old fishing spot when they discovered the dead porpoise, pictured above.
