Enagh Youth Forum's Big Lottery Funded YouthLed project continues to reach, include and engage local young people in Strathfoyle aged 10-25 years old.
These past few months have seen 22 young people gain their Star 1 Kayaking certificate, eight young people have gained a certificate in Foundation Safety & Rescue and eight young people have successfully completed Level One in Pony Care.
This project is all about putting local people in the lead and young people are planning their own projects and activities and are very busy at the minute putting the finishing touches to Enagh Youth Forum's first ever YouthLed summer scheme.
The YouthLed project is also supporting young people to become more job ready and over the coming weeks young people will have the opportunity to complete a range of courses that promote health and well-being, positive mental health, good relation, pride of place, environmental awareness and active citizenship.
The young people at Enagh Youth Forum are certainty stepping up to the mark in having their voice heard and becoming champions for change in their own community all thanks to the Big Lottery players.
