A Limavady man has been given a suspended jail sentence for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
The town’s Magistrates Court heard Richard Kealey (33) of Glenbank Walk, claimed Jobseeker's Allowance totalling £2,956 while failing to declare employment.
He was given a six month prison sentence, suspended for three years.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
