The Gasyard Feile is to host a debate on Bexit.
“Opportunity or Threat What Next for Ireland" will take place in the Pilots Community Centre on Rossville Street beginning at 7.00pm on Tuesday next, 9 August.
Panellists will include Sinn Fein MEP Martina Anderson, Tom Kelly, chairman of Stronger in Europe organisation and Dublin-Fingal TD Darragh O’Brien, Fianna Fail Apokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Speaking ahead of the debate, Ms Anderson (pictured) said: “I welcome the fact that the Gasyard Féile sees the importance of hosting this panel discussion on Brexit.
“Being dragged out of the EU will have a serious impact on the North’s universities, the best interests of the business community will not be served by this, funding for community projects ,rural communities are all going to be hit by the outworking’s of Brexit.
“The Féile event gives us an opportunity to discuss this all out and give people as much information as possible to make up their own minds .
“I am looking forward to the debate and would encourage as many people as possible to come along next Tuesday night.”
