Police have confirmed two women were arrested after being taken from a plane at City of Derry Airport this morning.
Four officers boarded the 6.55am flight from London’s Stansted Airport when it touched down at Eglinton.
A police spokesperson said the women, both in their 30s, were being questioned on suspicion of “endangering an aircraft.”
The spokesperson said police were called at the “request of the pilot.”
Passengers were held on the plane for almost an hour.
