Police in Co Derry have appealed for motorists to show caution on the roads after this car went out of control and ended up on its roof.
The collision occurred outside Magherafelt in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A lorry driver had stopped and was helping the driver as police came on the scene.
The driver, who was badly shaken and suffering from shock, was taken to hospital for treatment to facial and hand injuries.
The road was closed for a while and reopened after the vehicle was recovered.
Reporting the incident on their Facebook page, Magherafelt PSNI said: “The memory and sounds of the collision may have a more lasting effect but family and friends are on hand to help.
“When you get behind the wheel of a car please be careful.
“It's heartbreaking for your family and friends to hear you've been in a collision (or worse) and it's hard for the emergency services who deal with the immediate scene and the sights and sounds associated on a daily basis.
“Have a think when you get behind the wheel and be safe.”
