Multi award-winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has performed in Derry.
The 25-year-old took to the stage at the Beech Hill Hotel in Ardmore at the weekend along with Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid to perform at the wedding of the Derry musician’s sister, Brid.
Among the guests was McDaid’s girlfriend, Friends star Courteney Cox.
Sheeran was the opening act for Snow Patrol’s Fallen Empires Tour of North America in 2012.
The Beechilll posted a video of Sheeran and McDaid performing the band’s massive hit “Chasing Cars” on their Facebook page.
Along with the video, the hotel posted “We've hosted some fantastic wedding bands but few like this....
“Many congratulations to the happy couple Brid and Sandy, it was a pleasure to have been part of your special day....the great music comes courtesy of Johnny McDaid and Ed Sheeran.”
