Derry X-Factor hopeful Conor McGinty paid a surprise visit to a local school today, but refused to reveal if he has been picked to progress on the show.
The 21-year- old was a huge hit with the pupils of St Cecilia’s who clamoured to take selfies with him during an impromptu concert in the school’s assembly hall.
But the former Boots photograhic technician remained tight-lipped about making it through the “six chair challenge” to be screened tomorrow night.
“It will be interesting, that’s all I can say,” he told Derry Now.
“Only my parents and girlfriend know.
“People have been saying I look tan and asking if I’ve been to Nicole’s house in the South of France,” he laughed.
