Motorcyclist sustains life-changing injuries in crash with car

Police are appealing for information following a serious road that occurred yesterday afternoon on A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital after his motorbike was involved in a collision with a car just before 2.45pm.

His injuries are described as serious and life changing.

The driver of the car, a woman aged in her 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment for shock.

The Ballyquin Road was closed to traffic between Roemill Road and Glengiven Avenue reopened just before 11.30pm last night.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Constable Gregg Chambers said: “I would appeal to anyone who knows anything about this rtc to contact Limavady Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.”
