Police in Derry are appealing for information following an assault that occurred in the city centre in the early hours of Saturday, 28 May.
a 29 year old man required hospital treatment after he was attacked by a number of youths at around 12.15am in Foyle Street.
Appealing for witnesses, Constable Fenton said: “I would ask anyone who knows anything about this incident to contact Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 838 of 31/05/16.
“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
