Man's body found at flat in Derry but police say they are not treating the death as suspicious

The PSNI has said it is not treating the death of man in Derry as suspicious.

The incident was reported to the PSNI at around 3.30pm on Thursday afternoon.

Forensic officers were then called to the flat at the Strand Road where the man was found.

A police spokesperson told the Derry News: “Police attended the scene of the sudden death of a man at a flat at Strand Road on Thursday, June 9.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
