A Ballykelly man who appeared before court this morning charged with incitement to hatred has been ordered not to enter a housing estate in the village as part of his bail conditions.
Elijah Jackson (23), of Drummond Park, came before Limavady Magistrates Court charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour intending thereby to stir up hatred or arouse fear.
He allegedly committed the offence on June 27.
Releasing Jackson on his own bail of £500, District Judge Neil Rafferty ordered the accused not to enter Kings Lane estate in Ballykelly.
He also warned him not to have any contact, either directly or indirectly, with the injured party in the case.
Jackson is due back before the court on September 21.
